Thanks to our hard working Volunteers

Thanks to one of our volunteers who put in a magnificent “Lavender Hedge” for our service users. This garden is in full bloom at the moment and brings everyone who passes it a great deal of joy both visual and from it’s beautiful perfume. The lavender was planted in the front garden over a year ago and we have benefited from the scent and colour in each season since. Grateful thanks for this sensory addition to our garden.

Another silent but consistent worker has been tidying our gardens painting tired woodwork and revitalising our outdoor entertaining area. We have freshly painted tables and chairs including new cushions and just recently a freshly painted concrete area. It looks fabulous and inviting – many thanks.

And its hard to express our gratitude to our tireless IT consultant who has been volunteering his time for over 17 years to Karumah. He will come in at any time to help out and never misses coming in on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week, he has been a member of our board for as many years and helps out in the office and on social events when needed – many thanks.
