Positive Life NSW: Peer 2 Peer

Peer 2 Peer – Thursday 20 June

Join other gay and bisexual men living with HIV at Peer 2 Peer!  Share a meal, join the discussion and build your social network with others like yourself. All welcome!

At this Peer 2 Peer we will be discussing human papillomavirus (HPV) and risks for anal cancer, including what to look for and where to get further assistance and support. We’ll discuss how to raise HPV and anal cancer with your doctor and to get a referral to specialised clinics. We will also have a model of a bum that we can show you how to do a self or partner assisted digital anal rectal examination (Self/Partner DARE). If you are approaching 50 years or over, this workshop will be particularly important for you.

Peer 2 Peer is a peer support and discussion group for all gay and bisexual men living with HIV irrespective of age or time of diagnosis.
